The mission of Achievers Center for Education is to educate a diverse group of students with learning challenges who, together with Christ, will learn to live effectively in God's world.

 

Achievers Center for Education, based in San Antonio, Texas, is the only accredited, regional private school recognized by the Texas Education Agency that serves students functioning two years below age-appropriate in at least one subject. ACE provides a positive, safe learning environment for those students to reach their full potential.

We feature a low student-to-teacher ratio and hands-on teaching methods that are producing amazing results! These teaching strategies have proven to be effective for many students with special needs, including:

  • Autism

  • ADD/ADHD

  • Dyslexia

  • Significant Learning Disabilities

  • Tourette Syndrome

  • Anxiety and/or Depressive Disorders

Achievers History

In January of 2003, several women with children who had special needs began to discuss and pray about starting a school for their children. This vision found fertile soil in which to grow within its campus located at the University United Methodist Church.
